Critical Chain Project Management: A better Critical Path using MS Project: In the last 50 years of project management, since the “Gantt” and “PERT” methodologies were developed, there has only been one major breakthrough in project scheduling. This breakthrough is called “Critical Chain Project Management” pioneered in 1997 by Dr. Eli Goldratt of the Goldratt institute.

This course gives participants a full understanding of the CCPM techniques, tools, and theory. Participants develop critical chain solutions in MS Project and apply them to all types of projects. Participants develop single-project critical chain plans and also stagger projects in a multiple-project environment. Participants learn buffer management techniques for avoiding the pitfalls of committing too much or too little to any specific project, and for meeting project time and cost commitments every time.
